Here's the latest and final Desert Rock at the IPAC poster, sad that the series has run its course (as planned from the start) but more sad that I won't be able to attend. I'll be on the other side of the country enjoying a wedding with some old friends about the time the show starts. It's been great to go out there for a change of scenery, meet some new people and see some new great bands. Everyone I've met has been very nice and the staff was super helpful. Luckily for you if you chose to go you'll be witness to some of my favorite bands from ther series: Half Astro were pretty rad for my first time seeing them, it's no secret I dig Dali's Llama, the two sets Auto Modown played at the show were both excellent, I've been wanting to see The Hellions for awhile but alas not to be this time, You Know Who kicked some ass last time and unfortunately it looks like I'll be missing Big Scenic Nowhere, a big bummer cause I dig their other band Yawning Man so much.
