Been thinking about this old blog lately, it's use and future. I jumped on the blog boat a little late, probably 2 years past the initial blog craze, and it seems blogs are on the way out now at least as a must have to get noticed out there. Blogs seemed to replaced websites or magazines and were shorter in preparation and execution, it looks like now the blog is being replaced by even shorter bursts of information and images: Twitter and Tumbler. I enjoy the newer style of sharing info with Twitter and Tumblr, I really think the potential for information or images to catch on and "go viral" is 100 times more powerful than the Facebook or Blog method of sharing. I might start a Tumblr page soon just to get my images shared and passed around more often but I won't be abandoning the blog, yet. My blog functions as a news page, technique tutorial and way for me to share some of the behind the scenes process that goes into my work. It might a little heavy on "me talking about me" but I get a kick out of nerding out over the details of art and how it was created by artists I enjoy and hope you dig what I present here. Im not saying I think my art is rad enough for you to savor all the details, just that I wish more artists Im into revealed more of how they work and thoughts behind it and I'll do it myself for anyone interested. Anyway, as long as I have time, the blog stays.
Speaking of sharing info and details, I was looking at some details of older art and realized I never put up any for the Admiral Browning Battle Stations, so here goes:
